My name is Kira and I am a mixed breed cat.

I remember the moment my world turned upside down all too clearly. And everything that happened to me in the past will seem too cruel and unpredictable to you, but this is what I had to go through.

The car was speeding down the road, and the people who once loved me simply opened the window and threw me out. Everything happened very quickly: the wind, a strong blow to the ground and a sharp pain.

When I woke up, I couldn't move at all. And my eyes…I immediately realized that something was wrong with them.

I was lying on the side of the road, hearing cars rushing past. No one stopped. I tried to take at least a step, but the paws did not listen to me. But then I heard some car slow down. Someone came up to me, leaned over and quietly said: "Hold on, baby. We'll help you with everything we can.". They carefully picked me up, wrapped me in a warm blanket and pressed me to their chest, as if they were afraid of losing me.

Then there was a long treatment. Many injections and torture to restore my vision. But some injuries cannot be cured completely. Now I can distinguish some bright light and sudden movements. And despite the fact that my eyes do not work completely, this does not prevent me from orienting myself in space quite well. So I am capable of many things. And the most important thing that I am capable of is love. After all, many say that this is the strongest gift to continue to believe in love and in goodness despite all the horrors that happen to you.

I have experienced human cruelty to the fullest extent, but I know that one day there will be a person who will accept me as I am and will never abandon me.

And by the way, at the shelter everyone tells me that I am calm and gentle. And I also never miss the opportunity to play with other cats and from delicious food. So if you decide to adopt me, do not forget to stock up on snacks for a good first meeting.
