My name is Flora and I am a mixed breed dog.
My sister and I were rescued from the front line in the Kherson area. On the day of our rescue, our rescuers and we almost died from a military drone. It attacked our car during the evacuation, but everything worked out and everyone survived.
All I remember from my life before my rescue is only the terrible noise from the explosions and unbearable hunger. My sister at some point replaced my mother and so that I could survive, she gave me all the warmth of her body. And this is what gave me the opportunity to last a little longer. I think that if our rescuers had not found us on that terrible and very loud day, we would definitely not have been able to go through this and our existence would have ended that same day.
After our evacuation, in the shelter, we met a lot of other dogs and people who turn out to be kind and considerate. At first, it was very difficult for me to trust anyone other than my sister, but then she showed by her example that everything can be different.
I am shy, but I am very kind. Some things, new steps, can scare me, but I am just learning and after my past, it is not surprising that something can be more difficult for me than for other dogs.
I am still a puppy, but I know that if someone is ready to adopt me, I will give him all of myself without reserve.
