My name is Tyler and I am a mixed breed cat.
I was rescued in the Kherson region, where I found myself locked in a house that my family had left after heavy shelling. I swear I waited for them for a very long time. First for hours, then for days. But unfortunately they never returned.
After they left, the house suddenly became dark and cold. Sometimes it was too quiet, and sometimes everything was shaking from nearby explosions. After one of these explosions, almost all the windows in the house broke and I was able to get out.
I survived in every way I could. Wandered, hid, ate everything I found. I don’t remember how long this loneliness lasted - time loses its meaning when everything that surrounds you resembles real horror.
When people finally found me, I didn't even move. I thought it was another blow somewhere nearby. But instead of a crash, I heard footsteps. A flashlight. And warm hands. Someone whispered: "Poor thing, you've been waiting all this time, haven't you?"
I am currently in a shelter. I love the company of other cats and generally tolerate the company of people. I like the feeling of being cared for again, but I know that true love can only come from family.
